Request QuoteWhy Chocolate Makers Choose Origin Direct
Ghana and Nigeria together produce over 35% of the world's cocoa. Ghana's Premium cocoa is recognized as the benchmark for quality by the global chocolate industry, known for its classic, balanced chocolate flavor with fruity and nutty notes. Nigerian cocoa offers a bolder, more robust profile that is popular in dark chocolate formulations.
As a direct sourcing partner, Origin Direct gives chocolate manufacturers access to single-origin lots with full traceability from farm to factory. We work with licensed buying companies and cooperatives that follow proper fermentation protocols (5-7 day box fermentation, sun-drying to 7% moisture), resulting in consistently well-fermented beans that produce superior chocolate.
With the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) reshaping cocoa supply chains, traceability is no longer optional. Our supply chain provides GPS-level plot data and deforestation-free declarations that help your business stay compliant from day one.
